It feels like such a long time ago that I went for a ride with the lads, but this Sunday we all got together, Dave picked us up at about 9.30am, we stuffed our bikes into his super car and off we went to Gisburn forest.
Rich was at the car park eager to ride, we head off in search of new trails and we found them (thanks to Rich and his knowledge of the area), the only sad thing was that the trails are incomplete at the moment, which was frustrating as they flowed rather nicely in and out of the woods only to hit the end of a trail with no other option than to turn around.
On the flip side of the coin when they are finished they are gonna be trick, and I cant wait for that to happen!!
The guys we met who are building the trails seem to be very nice fellows, and the down hill trail they are developing looks nasty (in a good way).
We had fun and It was good to catch up and open the lungs, we popped into the local village for a pint (cider for me, and some bitterish muc for the other two younger members of our gang)and off home to clean off.
